    1. This was overall disappointing. A juvenile reflection on a juvenile experience with only a glimmer of insight and reflection. I would have been more satisfied if he achieved any understanding of his experience, why he eventually and non-eventfully walked away, or why he tried and left again at age 30.

    2. Really quick read. I wanted to read it because 1. I live on Long Island and 2. I love Kung Fu. Pretty interesting read from a pretty good writer. An editor should have gone through and nitpicked a few things but overall it was a good read. I would love to know what happened to Sifu Lau.

    3. I devoured this kindle single! Strauss really captures Kung-fu in that age of extreme vulnerability and devotion, adolescence. Funny, moving and meditative all in one.
