A fallen angel and the woman he fell for this started out with a bang and had a lot of potential. Unfortunately it all devolved into repetition -- constant cycles of bad guys coming after them and Nicole whining about how she didn't mean to kill anybody and Nicole and Keenan having sex. In between, there are endless conversations that go nowhere.

Cynthia Eden is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors but this book didn't do it for me Which is totally fine! Since this book came out in 2011, I can see how much her writing has grown. The hero was amazing but I couldn't finish the book because the heroine was a total block-head. She yells "I'm an independent woman!!!!" and then runs right into danger at least 3 separate times. Use the brain that god gave you, you "strong independent woman."

Not bad, but not great. What I have come to find as the usual Ms. Eden PNR storytelling. It doesn't feature one PNR-type, but includes a cast of characters. It kept my attention - I'll continue with the series.

I like the para & romance plot lines! I like the characters. I struggled with this. Was really loving the first few chapters and then both of the MCs started really getting on my nerves. I felt that the "world" was easy, but the plot got really repetitiveke the same thing over and over and over again. The "bad guy" was kinda ridiculous and had dumb intentions for being the bad guy. My favorite character was Sam; will probably, eventually, read his story. Hope his book is the next in the series.

Nice start to the series. Keenan and Nicole didn't grab me as much as I had hoped but I enjoyed this story. One thing that irked me was the cover appears to have a dark haired guy on it yet Keenan is described as blond. Sam, however, was a huge scene stealer. Look forward to his book.

Just can't finish this one. Love so many of CE other bks, this one just not for me.
