    1. This story takes place six months after Gay Like You.There is bratty and sassy, and then there's downright rude, obnoxious, and unpleasant. Cody is the latter. I'm sorry your mommy doesn't love you enough, Cody, but man up and be a decent human being. Cody and Tristan have been together six months, but Cody doesn't seem to have changed at all. In other news, as descriptors for the MCs, we get: the older man, the younger man, the taller man, the submissive, the dominant, the large man, the other [...]

    2. Love me a bratty sub, but this was just too short for me to really get excited over. In fairness to the author, though, I read the first part of Cody and Tristan's story too long ago to remember its specifics and I think the story lost a lot of its impact because of this. Had I read Gay Like You and Make a Wish back-to-back, I might have had a completely different reaction to this one.

    3. This is a great follow-up to Cody and Tristan's story. Cody is as prickly as ever six months after they got together, but Tristan can read him even better now. While the Dom doesn't let Cody get away with anything in terms of bad manners, he gives his sub enough space to tell him what is really wrong. I liked the way Tristan handles Cody, and how Cody has calmed down a little, even if he still tries to hide behind a gruff exterior.Anyone who liked the original story, Gay Like You, will like this [...]

    4. This free read is a sequel to Kim's story Gay like You. I really liked this story because I could see the development in Tristan and Cody's relationship. Although Cody still has a lot of issues things are getting better :) Cody still has an attitude LOL - I had to laught about his statement about the fountain: “You can say what you like. The statues are still throwing up into the damn thing—no matter how sodding soppy you are about it all.” ;)d I really, really like what he wished for *sig [...]

    5. Sweet short m/m romance following up on the characters from Gay Like You as they stand by a fountain in a park. I took the picture! :)

    6. Thank you to authors like Kim Dare who provide their readers with free stories!I will say right off the bat that my review is likely not a fair review since this short is a continuation of one of Kim Dare's other works. Because of this, I clearly do not know these characters. If I go back and read the other book, I will gladly revisit this review. Some of the reasons I gave this story 2 stars is because of the length and the lack of development. Obviously, if I had read the earlier book, the dev [...]

    7. This was a short follow up book to Gay Like You. I didn't read the first book so I probably didn't get out all I could get out of this story. Make a Wish is a quick and easy read. I didn't find anything that stood out for me in the like or dislike categories, except that it was too short. If you like Kim Dare and want a quick read you might want to pick up this book. The price is good, it's free here at :)

    8. I would've given it a better rating, if the author didn't include public sex. That's not a kink I enjoy. I do love a good D/s and even though this felt a bit too mushy, I would've rated it 3 or even 3.5 stars It's too bad that most authors don't understand that "short story" doesn't necessarily have to mean a PWP.

    9. Given the length of their relationship, Cody should have evolved more, I think. But I guess his sarcastic, resistant personality is part of his charm. I would have liked to see them happier together. Very short, but cute.

    10. This is a tiny follow-up to Gay Like You, set six months later. It’s cute, although maybe I’m a little sad that nothing much has changed, i.e. that Cody is still largely unable to admit to what he feels and wants. The story’s sweet nonetheless.

    11. Sweet short story about a Dom wanting to determine the reason for the mood of a bratty sub and comfort him.
